Visited yesterday. I liked it. I liked it a lot. Cosy and friendly, and not really one of those typical of- the-production-line Wetherspoons. If I lived in Whittlesey I would definititely pop in quite frequently. My one minor gripe is that the range of ales could be a bit more extensive,. but that is true of many pubs. Good effort from 'spoons!

Don't mind it in here. My Local Wetherspoons. But the meals are getting boring and bland and The beer is usually OK if not a little same old same old. God knows how it got in the GBG after less than a year but it is. The prices are losing their competitive streak (2.35 for a pint of real ale)

Has been a Wetherspoons for several months - out of the ordinary in that they've converted an existing old pub/hotel rather than a bank/PO/cinema/shop. The result is pretty typical Wetherspoons though swisher than many and with lots of different and quite distinct sitting/drinking areas. Seems to have gathered a strong following bringing in a variety of people in from the town and around. Plenty of old local pictures that are fascinating to the native or naturalised Fenman. Beer range is good though not exceptional for a Wetherspoons and the staff are efficient. Key position by the Butter Cross and the Market Square
