| Not the prettiest building in the world - but other than that a perfect pub. Great food & ales. Massive interior which can cater for anything. Multiple award winning, Bib Gourmand, AA** and the pastry chef won an award for being the best in the world recently. Sunday roast, bar menu, tasting menu and a la carte are all available. | I've been visiting here for 12 years and the food has always been excellent. Service is exceptionally good, I wish the half asleep staff in some other pubs would take note and copy it. Beer is well kept and served at the right temperature. The only thing that stops it being a 10/10 is that it is fairly pricy - but good value johnroger - 24 Oct 2007 22:44 |
