It looks quite intimidating in an overly posh way from the outside, but when you brave the red carpetted steps and glass entrance, the door is opened for you by the "doorman" and the mondrous interior takes your breath away. Another converted Bank, yes, but what a fantastic interior! Huge chandeliers and mixed lighting, little nooks and crannies with chaise longues and intimate tables. The food is excellent, the beer average, but a must to see. I have been 3 times now, eaten daytime and evening, and stayed until late to watch a local band. It's Boudoir/Moulin Rouge and would do well to have a burlesque night! speshal_kay - 14 Nov 2006 11:00 |
