Overpriced. Seems to target the over 21s, but because it has tried to pitch itself as a higher class of joing it does tend to fill with divorcees, old slappers, and blue collar grot wanting to get a bit of meet before heading off to fever. Food here really isn't good, the portions are ridiculously small, and it's too loud! pirate400 - 21 Mar 2011 15:50 |
I went in there only to find a patron had taken a shit on the floor! The staff could not leave the bar so a turd was brewing for a full hour before removal. Needless to say not recommended... chelsea_greg - 26 Oct 2010 14:54 |
I like this place a lot & use it as my local. The prices are on the dear side, I admit, but the service is good and I've always enjoyed the food both the quality & the portions. The age policy seems to be based on whether the staff know you or not. My daughter (early 20s) has no problems getting in. Dan137 - 6 Jan 2008 11:05 |
Looks ok and the no-smoking is a good idea, they need to keep the doors shut when it's cold though. I was in there midweek and had to enjoy my pint with my coat on. Freezing it was. anonymous - 10 Dec 2006 11:15 |
Good little intimate bar. definately not a pub. Excellent range of Wines and Champagnes. Food is Excellent and not your standard pub grub. No Smoking rule is defo a bonus. Music is apt for what it is trying to do! anonymous - 6 Oct 2006 21:06 |
