| At one point this vilage had no pubs open, but happily its back to 2 with this pub recently reopening along with the Ship Inn up the road. A basic locals' boozer with some pleasant and traditional interior fittings including a fireplace on the lounge to your right. the lounge to the left seems to be designed to appeal to a younger crowd, with jukebox, quiz machine etc, but it was quite quiet on my visit. Deuchars and Theakstons availalble on my visit, and Black Sheep had run out. The Deuchars was fine. Always good to see a pub reopened and this place is a decent alternative to the food-oriented, though equally good, Ship Inn up the road. Carlurmston - 26 May 2009 17:41 |
