| A group of old friends had a really great lunchtime reunion here..The beer was very well kept, food was very good and Chrissie landlady could not have been more helpfull...I think this is real gem of an old pub...i would recommend it to anybody...All the very best to the landlady and staff..... mike1942 - 7 Dec 2011 11:20 |
| I'm not sure what this pub was like under its old management, but it's really lovely now. I've been there for 2 special events (a Christmas lunch and Anniversary party), as well as for lunch, and it was great. The food is very nice (they have some good vegetarian options--I like their nut loaf roast dinner and cheese and tomato panini), and the atmosphere is good. It's a very clean and well-maintained pub--they have a conservatory as well, which is really nice for special events or just a meal.
