| Had a very brusque welcome from the barman when we rocked up on a Sunday afternoon around 5pm when the pub was pretty much empty. The Otter Bitter was somewhat sad and not at it's best. | Came to the Village last year whilst visiting the area and instantly fell in love with the Pub and the people. Very much like our part of Glostershire. Returned to a let in the village last Feb and used the Pub regularly for drink (Beer Festival) and food. Very welcoming. Cosy little pub (when the doors closed). Great selection of beers. Returned in Oct. to find the formula still the same, but the food very expensive. Starters at �6.5 - �8. Main courses at �15+. Great food, but alot more than what we would expect for good pub food.
