We went to this pub for Christmas lunch, the service was terrible, they had all the order wrong, when our dinner arrived the vegetables were hard and under cooked,we had to ask for roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding as they had "forgot to put them on our plate" when I complained the head waitress said if you want proper cooking go to a restaurant, when I asked for mustard and horseradish the waitress came out with a handful of sachets and dropped them on our table. Overall terrible experience. We would never go there again edone - 26 Dec 2011 08:06 |
Oh forgot to mention in my earlier comment - if you are beaten up nobody cares - nobody 'notices', The Manager will side with his rough disgusting clientele. patbal - 25 Aug 2011 20:04 |

just been to this pub for dinner (well supper by the time it arrived). we were told there was a 30 minute wait for food when we order at 6.15pm. after going up to enquire about our food several times it finally came at 7.30pm (unfortunately we had already paid for the meals or we would of left). My partner had the steak, which she ordered medium. It came charcoaled. I ordered the mixed grill with rare steak, which also came out charcoaled. My egg was so raw that i couldn't eat the food that it was drapped over. the chips were raw in the middle and unfortunately the best bit of the meal were the grey peas that looked like they'd sat in hot water since this morning (and were still like bullets). Daren't send it back to be cooked properly as they stopped serving at 9pm and we'd never get fed. won't be going back and certainly won't be recommending it to anyone. hungryhorse2 - 30 Jan 2011 20:36 |
Looks like the sort of pub you see bolted onto the side of a Travelodge - hence never been in there.. rhunt - 21 Dec 2010 16:56 |
