| This pub is now under new management and what lovely people and staff they are. I have visited a few times with my husband over the last few weeks and can't fault it. | Absolutely disgusted by this pub, I would not go bak in there if you were paying for my beer. The pub itself, and the beer are superb, as are the bar staff. But the landlady - Barbara ? - is without a doubt the rudest, most offensive, evil person I have ever met. It's a real shame because the barman, Trio, and the barmaid, Mell, were great, hard working, friendly, fun. But then this sour faced old cow came in and was rude to everybody. Like it was the customers fault that there were dirty glasses on the table. It was an inconvenience for her to keep her pub tidy and clean, and customers get in the way. I have never felt so unwelcome. In these hard economic times this pub deserves to go down the pan because of Barbara. I would NEVER go here agin. OssettBoozer - 6 Jun 2013 00:06 |
