| The Farmers Arms has now been purchased - by myself and my wife. We have applied for Planning Permission (6 months ago!) and are waiting for it to pass before we do ANYTHING otherwise we run the risk of someone making us undo all the work! We have just spent £10,000 making it water-tight! We GUARANTEE the pub WILL re-open, we just can't say when. | Hard, nay impossible to review the beer really. Went in last September but couldn't get served. Bar not that busy but I could have stood there all night whilst the bar'maid' served every local who stood behind me and steadfastly ignored my requests. My fault for being English I suppose......although I know a couple of proper pubs where Welsh is spoken as the norm and I get great, friendly service. Must be a local thing to Fishguard.
