As 1 of many LOCALS (i.e. as promoted on this site) I state the current attitude of this organisation is to force out the support that has been provided by the regulars over many years. In fact the current Manager has openly stated in public that she wants all of us out !! We are decent people, not troublesome and respect house rules. However, when we are dictated to , and told we cannot stand at the bar to consume purchases we find it a draconian attitude. Even bordering on control freak attitude by the manager. Just because you have changed the decor of your pub, does not mean you have the right to treat those who have supported you for years, through thick and thin, as if we are trash. There is currently a petition by the LOCALS/REGULARS to enable us to actually use this establishment for what it promotes itself as. A PUB !!! You are not a 5* city centre restaurant. We actively request support from possible customers to boycott this establishment until such time that they recognise the support they have been afforded for many years. Those wishing further information are welcome to contact me directly [email protected]. Please do not support this establishment until they respect the customer. nickbarredg - 14 Feb 2011 18:54 |
I frequently Work near Manchester Airport. It is a nice quiet pub for a chef & Brewer, the car park is large, easy to park, but once inside, it is dark, service is slow at the bar, food is even slower. Allow plenty of time between courses. Luckily they only charge us for what we have and not the rent for the tables and chairs. Ivor Bigone - 8 May 2006 22:52 |
