Small friendly family run pub, they stock a range of real ales! The best pint of courage best around!! Lots of lovely home made food, recently went on a tuesday night, had a great meal and it was 2 meals for the price of 1!! Seems to get busier at the weekends, although i've always had a nice warm welcome and always someone to talk to. Definatly worth a visit. chatterboxlottie - 20 Aug 2007 16:57 |
Small friendly local pub with good home made food. Menu includes good range of sandwiches and baguettes plus hot dishes - traditional roast on Sundays is good value. Dogs by arrangement with landlord (his own dog isn't very hospitable to other dogs apparently). Pub has traditional skittle alley in barn adjacent to the pub, max capacity 40. I note a previous reviewer says no real ales, but there were three on my last visit (01/01/07) (Courage Best, Adnams Bitter and Ringwood Bitter) rmenhinick - 3 Jan 2007 14:43 |
Local pub - does not seem to ever be busy! No real ales but friendly enough. Very limited pub food. Jonathan - 29 Apr 2004 13:04 |
