This place is a fairly trendy craft beer bar set into an old building not too far from the cathedral. 3 ales were on - Rooster's Yankee, Salopian Voodoo & Blue Monkey BG Sips. The two Weston's ciders were Flat Tyre & Rusted Wheel. I can imagine that this place gets quite busy of an evening. But late afternoon on a Friday, we were the only customers. The better of the two pubs we visited in Hereford on the day. But I prefer the Victory, the Beer in Hand and the King's Fee.

Now named Fire Fly. Efficient and helpful staff serving an impressive range of real ales and ciders. Ale was all priced at a very reasonable £3 a pint on my recent Saturday afternoon. One-third pint and two-thirds pint options available. A 'must visit' when in the city. 10/10.

This pub is not so bad but it could indeed be better. The poster below is quite correct that the staff need theirbums put in gear.

I went in the pub with some firends, for a drink and chit chat but it took so long to get served we ended up leaving and visiting The Spread Eagle instead. The staff were too busy out the back talking, instead of paying attention to the bar.

Other than that the pub is not a bad little place to be in.

The young bar staff don't really know what they are doing and the pub struggles to keep a decent pint. A great shame because people were expecting more after it re-opened.

Went in here during an all day p**s up and was pleasantly surprised. It is more like a bar than a pub due to its size and layout but has a nice patio area outside and a friendly black lab that looks like he has had too many turbo shandys. Overall a friendly place to be.
