| Came here with my girlfriend and mum and dad and was made to feel welcome as we came in. It has 2 resident dogs who are getting on a bit but seem to he quite placid. The landlady said she would move the dogs if we was bothered but we don't have a problem with dogs. The landlady came over and sat with us all and told us all about the history of the pub and the area and was very chatty. The real ale on offer was all good especially the farmers blonde from bradfield. If you are ever passing this way or want to try a real country pub pop in here. Caskales - 22 Dec 2013 19:14 |
| Visited this pub today, on entering was given a very friendly warm welcome from the lovely lady that runs the pub, the other lady that was working the bar was also very friendly, the food was excellent and the jam roly poly a must. The beers were kept in top quality condition. This is how a pub should be, friendly staff and locals, and in a lovely setting. Cant fault a thing and will certainly be back.
