Feels like your having a pint in a cinema foyer? Have never seen the attraction for this pub sorry. Harvey's is good though .Kids everywhere gpca - 29 Mar 2015 22:15 |
Should be called Tavern on the Green after school care pub. After a hard week at work all me and my husband want to do is go to our local pub, but this is getting more and more difficult to enjoy due to the amount of young children that are now running around this pub. I watched as children were throwing condiments on the floor as parents ignored them. Two lots of parent in separate big groups supplying their children with snacks and drink bought from the next door Tescos, while they are getting tanked up on beer and wine. Myself and our friend got splashed down our backs with drink when a child fell from her chair knocking everything flying. There are notices around but these are ignored by loud drink merry parents and not implemented by staff......such a shame as there is a good atmosphere in this pub and great place for young and old but now is ruined by a few. It only gets any stars from me because of it's location being convenient. Kids run wild in here despite rules displayed. Most of the parents seem to know the staff. Tables are usually sticky and littered. JoolsLM - 1 Jan 2015 18:29 |
Haven't used this for years, since Crawley Chess Club had their base nearby in fact, and we used to pop in afterwards to wind down. One of the better Crawley drinking houses. tommo5 - 12 Aug 2011 20:28 |
