| I started drinking in Brambles a few years ago after finding it hard to find a bar in Kirkby that plays live music of all types of genres (not just house dance music you find everywhere else). the people are really friendly and fun and there's always stuff going on but Brambles can be misunderstood by its loud and active atmosphere. Brambles is quite nicely decorated and I like the feel in there with a great stage for karaoke and a Big screen TV, which is great because there's always live sport on including PPV Boxing. | This Pub is a 2 minute walk away from the main bus stops in kirkby town centre. It has had a few names over the years...Firstly it was Gino's, then Butlers, then The Central and now it's back to Gino's again. During the day it's full of the same old men drinking guiness and lager. At night it's more of the younger generation wearing Lacoste trackies and hoodies that tend to hang there. Of a weekend it has it's own DJ playing scouse house, RnB and much other stuff. Violence comes round now and again and that's why I dont go anymore.
