| Just an updated opinion - visited the New Star a couple of Saturdays ago - pub hasn't changed much since our last visit ( about 18months ago). Good set of regulars - friendly and all seemed to be either watching TV or playing cards! The beer was really good, welcoming atmosphrer and we didn't eat but the food that came out seemd plentiful. They had a karaoke starting when we were there which is not our thing but seemed very well received anyway and the folk in there were enjoying themselves. | Great pub, in there every friday without fail, friendly and welcoming...the staff are fantastic and are the type to get to know your name, just had a small refurb to freshen it up. Highly reccomend plus the drinks are cheap! 6raham - 14 Feb 2007 16:04 |
| New big screen tv in the public bar,reasonable prices and friendly what more could you want.Some of the comments at the bottom are quite bizzare.I think the people who made them have not visited the pub.
