BEEN CLOSED FOR MONTHS. Turned their back on the local real ale few who kept this ticking over when it was owned by Steve(?) a few years back. Sports bar, sizzling Indian chicken bar... they were destined to fail, and have done. Don't mess with the loyal locals, they're more powerful than you think. TW1 - 1 Jan 2012 14:20 |
Now renamed the Mulberry. See entry on the site strongarm - 23 Mar 2011 11:39 |
Just had a refurb from the hideous black exterior and ridiculous pink interior, new owners, new name, new menu, all good! Much improved and can quite hoenstly say it's a much nicer place to go from the staff who actually know what they're doing to the Landlords who make every effort to talk to you at some stage of your visit! 2 pool tables, 5 big screens, lovely secret garden, live bands Sat. nights, nice, traditional, not trying to be something it's not..........simple! Been back a few times and havent been dissapointed yet.......oh and the Scampi & Chips.........QUALITY! thepubcritic - 17 Apr 2010 21:13 |
Nice pub. Staff were lovely and friendly. Tried their new BBQ - kebabs were fantastic. I really recommend this place. ilikebeer7 - 25 May 2009 09:12 |
This pub has never really done it for me. It's not terrible, but there are so many better pubs in Twickenham. Not a great selection of ales either. drunkintheevening - 10 May 2009 19:04 |
