We ate here as a family over May Day Bank Holiday. Good pint of IPA & welcoming landlord & landlady. Dogs in bar while eating may put some people off. Food was reasonably good, but suggest Langley Tap (Langley Burrell) or Bell Inn (Lacock) as better places to eat. CalneBlueBird - 30 Jun 2011 17:50 |
Having just moved into the area recently we have been trying to find a good friendly local serving decent real ales and great food. Finally we have, The Peterborough Arms ticks all the boxes. Friendly bar staff, very jovial Landlord/Chef and wife, a good selection of Waddies beers and excellent food, better than normal pub grub. I had a gammon steak whilst the wife had Scallops with black pudding and a balsamic reduced sauce. WOW! Nothing was too much trouble. This one comes highly reccommended. Keep up the good work. inkywebber - 6 Jun 2010 13:59 |
Now the old landlord has taken himself off to pastures green this pub has retunred to the realms of a very decent place that should not be missed. Teh Landlord and Landlady are REALLY nice people whose one aim is to make the experience a pleasent one. Food is now varied, well cooked, and best of all reasonably priced. Now good enough so that just about every week we find an excuse to eat out there instead of botehring to cook at home. Huge Garden, Friendly faces, Good Food, Good Beer - what more could you ask for? dalexi51 - 15 Apr 2009 11:32 |
Used to drink Here in the 1970's as a RAF ERK from nearby RAF Lyneham. A favorite watering hole for the RAF Amarok - 4 Mar 2006 20:11 |
