As a long time drinker in Darlo, The reviews for this pub are out of date, This is one of the best pubs in town. If your a local, or if your new to town, then you should visit this Pub! Everyone's friendly, welcoming, I've had some good nights in there, and am glad to be able to recomend it! darloveteran - 29 May 2008 04:44 |
Slightly shabby, back-street Darlo pub that looks worse from the outside than the inside. I assume it gets busy on a weekend but, mid-week, it's ok for a quiet drink. Like the nearby Hogan's it could do with something cask, although the Magnet is fairly drinkable and very cheap. pablos13 - 18 Nov 2007 00:17 |
Cracking pub, was up from London for a few days and came across it whilst walking around from the station, had a pint on a friday night. Was made to feel very welcome. They had Karaoke on and everyone was getting into the swing of it! Very reasonable drinks prices, definatly recomend! Flynnja - 15 Jun 2007 18:09 |
I can echo the sentiments of the other reviewer entirely. Unless you've got more "sov" rings than teeth by a factor of at least 3 to 1, RUN AWAY. But NOT to Hogans. big_andy - 24 Apr 2006 17:01 |
Rough `sky footie` type pub, full by day and night with the terminally unemployed, kack toothed and broken nosed. Best avoided if looking for a quiet pint. Still, a better option than Hogans up the road. darloexile - 2 Mar 2006 15:48 |
