Doesnt appear to be much action in the redevelopment here, boarded up for months with a sign saying a new Be At One Bar but thats been up for months. Not the best location for it in my mind. Clivers - 6 Oct 2007 19:58 |
Due to reopen as a Be At One bar. beeronaut - 11 Aug 2007 21:32 |
This place is a bit like Marxism then; totally dead. anonymous - 25 Apr 2007 16:57 |
Not many people know this but this pub is where Marx and Engels and others used to meet, where the first meetings of the Communist Party were held and where the Communist Manifesto was initially drafted and approved. This is a historic building in the hostory of Politics and it should have a Blue Plaque on it. I hope the people that live there when its converted know the relevance of this place. maxEboy - 29 Mar 2007 13:38 |
Such a shame it's gone, the Hard Edge Club used to take place here upstairs. One of London's classic little venues, this was. beeronaut - 18 Mar 2007 17:25 |
