the place needs a good clean :( staff were lovely though - but looks like the ceiling is falling down and damp patches in certain places.... likeatipple - 18 Feb 2012 15:53 |
Welcoming and comfortable establishment in the middle of a nice little market town with a dire traffic problem - the floral tributes on the pelican crossing said it all for me. Extensive menu with some nice specials but 'healthy option' is something that happens elsewhere. Beer disappointing - either Greene King IPA or Morland Speckled Hen although I think the latter may change periodically. They might not welcome drunks but judging by the racket at closing time they are not averse to producing their own. REVERENDBAZ - 25 Sep 2007 17:03 |
The Kings Head is a hotel, but the bar is open to the general public. The staff are friendly and the real ales are very good. If you're doing a pub crawl around wimborne, it's best to visit the Kings early on as they are not so welcoming to very drunk customers. gilgamesh - 25 Feb 2006 11:36 |
