not so wise any more....shame fullbelly - 10 Apr 2012 20:58 |
The Owl in Kingsfold is a very friendly pub, with fantastic food. The head chef Christian makes the best banoffee pie I have ever tasted and all at a reasonable prices. The landlord and lady are very welcoming. There is a good atmosphere in there with a separated restaurant from the bar area, which often has live music. This pub caters well for the locals, with village family days, as well as passing the trade, with good beers and wines, defiantly worth a visit. Pub.Critic - 10 Dec 2011 23:58 |
I don't understand this last comment, we eat here from time to time and recommend it to people who come to us for food when we have none on offer. We have always enjoyed our meal. A lot of pubs use that well known brand of catering food supplies for cooking ingredients and just because you see a 3663 lorry outside it would be wrong to assume it is delivering ping dinners. I would suggest you try it for yourselves. sarabl - 1 Jun 2011 16:34 |
it is indeed a transformation, but the food has not improved. they are still in this cycle of using that well known brand of catering food supplies...we all know and hate. thevirg02 - 18 Mar 2011 10:46 |
