| What a lovely pub this is. No TV, no gambling machines and no piped music. It's what a pub should be, a place to sell good ale. Good selection of Sam Smith's beers, Lagers and spirits. | Commented on this pub a while back still one of the best pubs in the area and has just got better if that is at all possible. They are now serving food.... I had a Sunday roast last sunday and it was excellent especially for the price £4.99 for a full roast I think the managers have nailed this one menu looked good and well priced will be in every weekend keep it up guys freddy77 - 5 Mar 2014 13:21 |
| If you ever want to see what a pub looked like 100 years ago, pay a visit! A wonderfully preserved local boozer. It has all its origional fixtures and fittings...including a heated brass foot rail around the bar. Being Sam Smiths, it carries all its own brands, which are very reasonably priced.
