Closed for a couple of months last year - after a change of ownership. Now reopened. Popular with rugby fans, with the stadium nearby. tradervic - 30 Apr 2020 17:50 |
Locally known as "The Jockey". Gloucester town boozer. They all have a feel. Very similar to One Eyed Jacks in Tredworth. I had Stowfords which was fine. Lovely mural done by a local man. TMYNS - 12 Mar 2014 13:53 |
Had the Fullers London Pride, it did not travel well. Guinness fine so was the Shed and the Doombar. Good place to watch the football. Also has a skittles alley still in use when i was in last. I'd go again. rpf1955 - 26 Mar 2010 17:53 |
Traditional pub, not one to take the kids too, decent range of drink, very busy when the rugby crowd are in town, a few dodgy regulars, but what pub doesn't! Porkling - 6 Sep 2009 10:10 |
Was in before the game on Saturday and, naturally, the place was rammed, even so the service was poor. Pool table, big screen TV. I only use it on match days and so I probably don't see it at its best, and I won't be rushing back. SW6 - 30 Jan 2006 12:00 |
