Nice pint of black sheep today👍 f6c - 8 Aug 2017 13:05 |
Station pub, quite welcoming (especially from the harsh Cumbrian weather outside) with a reasonable selection of ales that went down well. anonymous - 4 Jun 2015 18:28 |
No real cider. A welcoming house with lots of railwayana (inc.being the only pub I have ever seen selling Thomas the tank engine books) with part of the pub rigged out to resemble an old-fashioned corridor compartment coach. jgurney1 - 26 Apr 2014 23:03 |
Had Ennerdale Best (think is from Whitehaven) - it was very nice. Also had the Ennerdale Stout on and others as well incl. Jennings Cumberland and Theakstons Old Peculiar and Black Sheep. Wish I could have stayed longer - worth a visit for the Ale. kernott1 - 16 Jun 2010 22:32 |
Popped for a quick one before alighting the delightful little R&E train next door. 4 Real Ales on, but only had time for one. Had one of their burgers which was skinny and definitely not homemade! Had a couple of VERY pleasant Ales at The Holly House Hotel on the estuary earlier though! (not listed yet, but well worth a visit) brewmaster54 - 23 Jun 2009 13:38 |
