user reviews of Sir Jack, Bramley

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

this pub has now re-opened as a more up-market carvery.
6 in the day, 7.50 evenings.
***
verdict:
nice food, but more expensive.
the problem here is that as more pub/diners move toward carvery, the menu choices become less & less.
a 7 from me.

closing down for refurb to become a carvery.

this is definitely a "diner" pub.
its on a retail site by Bramley at the side of the M1/M18 junction, along with a supermarket, macdonalds, and other businesses.
its a large building with plenty of parking.
it can get very busy early evening & weekends, but it can cope well with a LOT of people.
its popular because it does the 2-for-1 menu, which is reasonable value.
we go quite regularly for meals.
no cask ales.
**
go there to eat. if you go just for a pint, you'll be staring at diners all evening!.

A disturbing pub, newly built that serves food - mainly a family restaurant in a pub "style" - not a drinking venue of choice, although the food is nice.
