| I went into the Court Inn last night and was shocked at the the prices, so I had just one half and went somewhere else - the half cost me �2 44p, equating to almosy �5 a pint. One to avoid, if you ask me. stanley_C - 3 Mar 2011 20:37 |
| Totally agree with the last review.The interior is half bistro ,half your nans living room. Sofas,rugs and big tall lampshades and patterned curtains......not sure what`s going on there but looks truly awful. Way too many t.v screens for my liking,was in there one weekend for a quiet drink and the television was on BBC1,I left immediatly after,as it was very annoying and loud. | Rather oddly refurbished interior, obviously trying to look fairly swish, but falling short. You don't feel like you are in a pub at all. The central features seem to a number of enourmous televisions, turned up fairly loud. | This hotel has gone upmarket recently and it has benefited from an injection of cash. The new management have attempted to mix bistro and wine bar with some success. Cotswold brewery ale was on tap when I was in last and I was genuinely surprised by this. I was thinking extra cold lager would be the norm. The atmosphere was pleasant and I enjoyed my beer.
