| Choice of two pubs in the village. I'd have come here, even if I had seen the last review :-) Empty. Everyone had gone to the wedding. | Dreadful place- enter at your peril. Landlord is notoriously unwelcoming and the place is full of people who look like extras from Straw Dogs. | The quiet village of Bodicote is situated on the edge of Banbury. But it feels a world away. The Plough is a two room pub - one for drinkers and one for diners. The dining room was unoccupied, whilst the bar had 3 people and the landlord. It's now a Wadworth pub with 3 ales. | I saw online that they do food and rang up to see if a booking was needed. The phone was answered with a grumpy "hello", the pub's name not being mentioned until I checked I'd rung the right number. I was then told "we don't do food any day" and as I was just about to let them know they were still advertising food online the phone was put down on me. | A pub I have visited for the past 15 or so years on and off, but sadly the present landlords are far too rude. Simple polite questions are often greeted with a rude blunt reply.
