| Under new management and better for it. This pub is now run as a community pub and it feels a lot more friendly. The new owners, Mark & Clare are great hosts and the food is made fresh - so it may take a little longer than you may be use to, but it is well worth the wait. The deserts are a delight and they do bar snacks too. The garden is a good size with Aunt Sally, picnic tables and catches the evening sun. Some good beers too, Black Sheep to name one. At one end is a large TV which is on for the big events, comfy seats too. The dining area is far enough away not to be disturbed by the TV. It is a nice pub to pop into for a quiet beer, meet with friends or enjoy a wholesome meal with family and friends. And it has wireless internet too. isaidright - 19 Jun 2008 21:50 |
| Nice pub, good sized garden, barman can be a bit grumpy - but adds character. Food overall pretty reasonable - some local produce. Beer good. Will be much better know no smoking isaidright - 2 Jul 2007 21:40 |
