CORRECTION Extremely busy upmarket pub, almost entirely dining, so my comment about below par beerwill be of little consquence. Worth a trip for the picturebook pond though mtaylor40 - 3 Apr 2012 19:24 |

Very good beer - they had Hook Norton Best and the guest was Slaters' Queen Bee when we were there. This pub is known for its food, but there are regular drinkers at the bar, too. Food is on the pricey side (this is definitely a gasto-pub) but good quality. There was only one vegetarian option, but given notice, the Chef is happy sort something out. Service is friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit. sloe_jane - 3 Feb 2008 19:17 |
Posh pub-restaurant, if you can find it. Probably need to book if you want a meal on weekends. Good range of beers, wines, spirits. Expensive but definitely good value and superb quality food. Try it! Great service Great food baibel - 17 Nov 2006 23:30 |
