| Just been bought privately, if the rumours are to be believed, and the previous landlady ( Amanda Garstang ) is set to run the place once more, which is probably a good move by the new owners. Seems like this Pub may have got a new lease of life again, which is great to see nowdays, with so many Pubs closed all over the Country. Nice to see one re-opening again, methinks...... | Sadly, it looks like this Pub has finally succumbed to the financial pressure put on its Landlady ( Amanda Garstang ) by Enterprise Inns, and all the relevant other debts that come with the licensed trade nowdays, and will close this Saturday May 8th. | Well Ed, It was over 2 Years ago since I posted that comment, and at the time it was how I saw the Pub then, the Licensed trade has changed completly since, with more and more Pubs closing every Day, I'm just glad The Vic is still open, and the Park too......
