| attended this pub on saturday 8th October prior to York races, racegoers were not allowed into bar area with locals, i bought two identical rounds of drinks and was charged different (extremely expensive)prices each time. i checked the price list on display and very embarrassed bar staff told me the prices were raised on race days. everyone was complaining about the very expensive prices. | Just received a refurb which makes the pub look fresher. However the speed of service is quite slow even if you're the only waiting you can be waiting up to 5 minutes plus to be served. Seems to have a lot of cheesy theme nights. olsen - 13 Apr 2008 14:09 |
