A superb pub, comfortable, friendly, and with a good selection of Green Mill beers all in top condition and well priced, well recommended. bellevueace - 16 Oct 2015 11:57 |
Superb community pub with a relaxing, friendly atmosphere, comfy environment and real coal fires. Green Mill beers were excellent: a taster rack of three x thirds at £2.60 is a great way to the the beers. Interesting selection of bottles and food menu. A must visit! 10/10. wobblybob - 31 Dec 2014 10:00 |
Cracking pub. Microbrewery in the cellar so always a great choice of hand-pulled ales, proper ciders and world beers in the fridge. Lancashire crisps, Saddleworth Pies, mash, gravy n peas are the only food options, but what more do you need? Open fires, plenty comfy seats in nooks n crannies. Only a few yards from Broadbottom Station, and bang on the Longdendale Trail. Beer garden just being upgraded as I type. Only downside is the insistence of a small minority of regulars on sitting on bar stools at the quite small bar, totally blocking it and not having the nouse to let you through to order. Lots of seating available so why ????? Sort it Landlord............. 8-) Spriggan - 21 Apr 2014 17:10 |

Visited here for the first time last night with some friends from Godley. Destite Timothy T's hostile comments below I found the place very welcoming to everyone, there was a good mix of all types of people all very friendly. The drinks were good quality although a tad dear. Look forward to visiting again anonymous - 13 Aug 2006 21:26 |
