I was also a regular in the Coombe Abbey 35 years ago and have very fond memories of Tom the Landlord and the excellent Bass. A more recent visit of a few years past going down memory lane confirmed no real ale. A great little pub in its time - what a shame. cornishtractorboy - 17 May 2012 13:43 |
The last time I was in here, they sold draught Bass in perfect condition, but that was 35 years ago. Are there really no cask beers anymore? It seems an awful shame if it's true. I'll check it out next time I'm in Coventry Mancini - 24 Sep 2010 16:31 |
No cask ale so didn't bother stopping...no point really as it doesn't sell what I want to drink. ICTGringo - 2 Jan 2010 22:49 |
