| Holts pub on the edge of St Helens with a couple of guest ales on too. The interior is reasonably impressive with multiple drinking areas. It was fairly busy too, with many locals watching Rugby League. The 2 Holts ales were their Bitter and Hat Trick. The other 3 ales were Bootleg Fools Gold, Wells Bombardier & Sharps Doom Bar. It was nice to find an open pub after my wasted trip to Crank. Moved on from here to the Cricketers Arms - seemingly St Helens' finest pub, but strangely not listed on here.
