| Visited this pub for the first time yesterday. I didn't know it existed. had a pint of Harvey's IPA which was very nice and steak and chips which was also good. Very much a countryman's pub as the name suggests and well worth a visit if you are travelling along the A272. Unspoilt pub in unspoilt surroundings. flagship - 28 May 2016 10:03 |

| Visitied this pub for lunch with friends, we received a warm welcome, the staff could not have been more helpful or pleasent, the food was excellent and the ale was good. What more could I ask for? The food was slightly dearer than the average pub but the quality and portion size comfortably made up for that.
