| had a 'carvery' with a group (40+) offered choice of some pork and gammon as meats !!,no beef no turkey.Dessert course ,order taken then coffee offered at least 15 minutes before dessert arrived,dessert cutlery dirty(with cream still in spoon from previous user!!) | Visited this pub as one of a group of 5 on Easter Monday lunchtime. A very large bar area with three local Exmoor Ales on offer. I enjoyed a pint of Ale whilst another member of our party had the Stag, both in good condition. Good range of food on offer but my mixed grill arrived cold, as did other parties food. | Nice pub in a rural market town with a jukebox and pool table. Good place to pop in for a drink after looking round the market (Thursday & Saturday mornings). One problem I have come across is I don't think some of the staff know how to make a Bloody Mary! James - 29 Sep 2005 11:28 |
