It has been closed for a few weeks and is now reemerging as the Bletchingley Arms from the sign. Kids toys in the garden gone and being turfed over. I wonder what beers will be there?

Didn't try the food (luckily). Was unoffensive early on a Saturday. Doubt it gets better later. There are child friendly pubs that allow middle class parents to meet over a latte and a ciabatta and then there are child friendly pubs for inducting your 6 year old to their first taste of their inevitable life with booze. I'm no fan of either but this falls into the second category.

I have been here three times now, not by choise I might add, friends arranged to meet here. First two times meals were stone cold. Visited again on Sunday 10th July. This time I have no idea if the food was hot or cold, waited nearly two hours!! for my meal, gave up and left in disgust. I will never visit this pub again.

More miss and miss!

Cheap and cheerful but the cheerfulness is engendered by the innocent but slightly yet delightfully mad waitresses...I think the trainer stuffed in the rain gutter, presumably holding up the roof, should have been a warning. Shall I mention the food? Best not. The beer? Definitely not! The only corkscrew in the pub..that didn't work? Amusing maybe a touch ironic. The heating on full blast on mid-summers day? Barely worth a mention at all. All in all a truly memorable experience. Will I return? Is there a cat Schroeder's box? More questions than answers in this unique pub. Worth a visit if you enjoy Dali..he would have, maybe? Oh, yes,,,did I forget to mention that one of the three flying ducks had gone awol?

This pub can be very hit and miss. Sometimes very good and sometimes very very bad. One of the main problems are the bar staff. They try their best but are always understaffed. Beers are normally Courage Best & Directors, which are always well kept. The food is good on most occasions.
