| Not Trof any more - now called Fallow? Not been for a while so don't know when that changed. Just had Sunday Roast. My god - best ever and confusingly, breakfasts going out to other tables........they looked awesome too. Whatever issues there used to be with beers - not sure - great selection there and only what you'd pay anywhere else. Love this place - defo best in area, maybe in town. | I actually disagree with the previous review, yes there's good food (including loads of veggie/fairtrade/organic stuff) but it doesn't lack 'quality liquid'. The beer is really good and they don't charge city centre prices - their Special Lager is actually �2.30 a pint - and they've got loads of different kinds of bottled beers and spirits. | Food is good in trof, but when you eat you need some quality liquid to wash it down with and sadly trof is lacking this. If you want to pay over �3 for a staropramen go to trof, but their cheapest lager being "trof special lager" at �2.50, better go elsewhere. Shame. robthorn - 26 Jan 2007 13:25 |
