| We have been here a number of times now being new to the area, very interesting wood carvings by the landlord, worth the visit for the quirkyness. Had one meal we found very enjoyable on a quiet night. Also went there for a local band , one of the best nights out in a while, as strangers felt welcome and good music. | Visited last night, its a large two roomed village local with passing trade on a minor route out of Chard. Two beers, Otter ale and Exmoor Ale 3.8 % which were in good order but a bit unimaginative as they were both 3.8%. See Paris_Hilton's comments on other nearby pubs in Somerset, these beers seem to be in every freehouse in this area. Serves food and chips were good portions. | Really looking forward to visiting this pub on Saturday night (5th December). I'm particularly looking forward to sampling the specials menu and seeing some of Trevor�s unusual wood carvings. I also can't wait to try the Baileys they stock. Yummy! Myself, my brother and two Dave's are in town - so watch out Chard!
