| Finally got a chance to revisit since it reopened. I was quite impressed. Very much food orientated these days, but a decent selection of food available from snacks up to full meals. | We had the opportunity to visit this pub while on a walk. Discovered that they have recently reopened. The Nice Weather beer from the Dancing Duck Brewery was fabulous. I did not try the Tim Taylor or 2 other beers, still had miles to walk so had to limit myself. We had a terrific lunch there too, Steak and Ale pie gets top marks. | Not a lot to say or like about this pub except the landlord was friendly. Beer was piss, didn't try the food and the quiz machine cheats, big style......... My rating 3. At least it is there and the landlord is friendly. Runningdog - 13 Sep 2008 15:57 |
