| A lovely village is enhanced by this excellent stop off point with the welcoming staff a real bonus. We treated ourselves to two platters - seafood and antipasti - and both were superb - although don't order the former unless you like rollmops! | Excellent pub, especially half way through an eight and a half mile walk. Beer (Oxford Gold) very good, food fine. Two very nice young ladies working behind the bar! | A proper pub with a proper gaffer behind the bar with other affable staff, taking an interest and caring about customers. | Very much out of the way though was easy to find with a "brown sign" pointing off the main road. Beer was good and the food fine; open all day Sunday and cooking lunch until 16:00 which is great if you are running late like we were.
