| This small traditional pub has been under new management for a couple of years now and it has been tidied up with new carpets and a lick of paint which has improved it a lot. The garden is small but it's really sweet with picnic tables and hanging baskets and is a bit of a sun trap! They have had a couple of BBQ's out there which offered great value, good food with a professional chef. It's quite quiet most of the time but they do have events every now and again such as karaoke and they held a racing night not so long ago and there is a pool table and sky sports - they showed the Haye fight at the weekend. | Excellent pub, friendly staff and customers although a certain member of the barstaff needs to learn to keep her mouth shut and behave a LOT more lady like. Friday nites are excellent and Saturday nites just as good, depending what entertainment they have on. All in all a good alround pub. thankful - 4 Nov 2008 10:47 |
