| I have been in this pub several times over the years, it is an 19th century brick building much added to from the outside. The interior, whilst retaining a nice fire place and windows, has been altered considerably, but the feel is at least an attempt to be traditional. The landlord is very friendly and we ended up chatting for quite a while on the pub and its history. The two locals in the pub joined in and i spent a nice half hour in chat and banter. Clearly Roballe was right! The beer is the basic choice, with Banks's MILD and bitter Cask on electric tap. The MILD was fine.
