| Popped in before and after watching a game, handy for the station. Sharps Doom Bar and Atlantic both in good condition. Friendly locals with good banter about football scores. Well worth a visit if you've got a wait for a connecting train. ellisref - 17 Apr 2017 21:35 |
| A bit worn round the edges mixed food and beer pub. Has pool table also one ale on but didn't fancy trying it so had lager which was pretty much as you'd expect anywhere. | Had a long wait for a train on a cold wet winter night - went in here. Beer just about OK, only one other customer (10pm Saturday). Almost as miserable as hanging around on the station. Not my kind of place at all. newbury_drinker - 19 Feb 2010 22:59 |
