| This is now called Bonds Wine Bar. The basic layout is the same as it�s Town Crier days but it�s been spruced up considerably with a wooden floor and an all together more contemporary feel. Even the loo�s seem to have had a makeover. There�s a selection of comfy sofa�s and low tables in the end bar, with higher tables and stools in the main bar. Landlord was friendly and helpful, even declining to serve the Butcombe Blond as there was apparently some problem with the line. He tried pouring a couple of glasses but wasn�t happy with it. To be honest it�s not something I usually drink and probably wouldn�t have noticed. Beer choice was disappointing though, with just the aforementioned Blond and Bass �Smooth�.
