| Blimey - this has really gone downhill. Perfect position opposite the pier but now with the added "bonus" of vast tv screens - just what we need. Can get very rough during the summer and showing footie won't help. Avoid unless you like yobs and screaming kids stuffing their faces with McDonalds and chips. | What on earth is going on at this place. A warm Saturday lunchtime and the place was completely empty. The TV was blaring out a sports programme at full volume and the only people were a scummy family who kids were wrecking the outside. With decent pubs closing down every day, how can one like this survive. Get rid of the staff or close it down. It certainly won't be missed. | New managers yet again. This is the fourth lot in 7 years. Friendly enough but unusual to hear rap blaring out in Eastbourne at 2.30 and all afternoon. That's probably why it was empty.
