| Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy. Children who like their alcoholic ribena might like it, but if you want beer you won't. Unfortunately, I work near this place and in all the times I've been, the Timothy Taylor Landlord pump has *never* been working, leaving only Bombardier and Bass - if you're lucky. Today, Friday lunchtime, to celebrate someone's birthday, and not one single hand pump was on and for no good reason either. Our group left this almost deserted place within 15 minutes as a result. Deserted, that is, except for a table of policemen laughing wildly over "police, camera, action" type out-takes. Very strange. The actual quality of the beer when they can be bothered to serve it reflects the indifference of its third-rate management, in my opinion. | On a recent visit I got into the Blackcurrant Daquiris.. sounds a bit gay but they were the dogs B******s. Highly recommend a trawl through their cocktail menu. Staff also friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. shelfman - 23 Jul 2003 15:41 |
