| An excellent pub since being taken over by John, the new landlord. All the staff are friendly and the beer is well kept, and changes regularly. There is no TV, just people talking to each other with subtle, but interesting, background music. Live bands on Saturday are fun, but not so in your face that you can't find a quieter corner for a beer and a chat. | Great atmosphere, good live music on Saturday nights. Friendly staff. Tasty, homemade food, always good quality. Newly renovated. A great place to relax and meet with friends.
